Certified Prosthetics and Orthotics training (CPO)
At ADI you will find Israel’s first certified training for Prosthetics and Orthotics (CPO). Our Academic Program in Prosthetics and Orthotics is a collaborative initiative between the Ministry of Health, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and ADI Negev – Nahalat Eran. Established to train a new generation of prosthetists and orthotists in Israel, the program is built to ISPO international standards and integrates advanced academic, clinical, and technological training.
Curriculum
The program is designed for physiotherapists and occupational therapists with clinical rehabilitation experience, equipping them with the professional knowledge and tools to support patients who require prosthetic and orthotic care.
The program incorporate leading lecturers from Israel and abroad, hands-on clinical training, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies — all within a framework that bridges academia, the healthcare system, and the patients needs.
A National Project
The establishment of this program addresses a significant shortage of qualified professionals in Israel and meets the growing demand for advanced rehabilitation services.
Its goals are to raise the standard of care, enhance patient independence and quality of life, and position Israel as a national center of knowledge and excellence in prosthetics and orthotics — with lasting impact on the country’s rehabilitation system for years to come.
