About Us

Occupational therapy helps patients regain the ability to do the things that matter most to them, whether that’s getting dressed independently, returning to work, or reengaging with family and community. Treatment often includes rebuilding fine motor skills, coordination, and sensation in the hands and upper body, alongside cognitive work like memory, planning, and executive function, all in service of real daily function, not isolated exercises.

Our Occupational Therapy Department works in close collaboration with physicians, physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, and other specialists, ensuring therapy is not just about clinical progress but about restoring genuine independence. Every patient’s path is different, and our team is here to help chart it.

Advanced Equipment and Technology

Patients train in newly equipped, comfortable treatment rooms using the most advanced technologies available, including:

Blazepods

An app-controlled system of illuminated pods that creates customized exercise programs to improve reaction time, movement accuracy, balance, hand-eye and foot coordination, and cognitive skills including attention and concentration.

Myro

A large touchscreen enabling upper limb work in standing positions.

Diego

An advanced upper limb rehabilitation system combining functional arm and hand recovery with VR-based daily living activities.

Specialized Treatments

Based on each patient’s individual needs, we offer specialized interventions requiring advanced training:

Vision Rehabilitation

Assessment and functional vision rehabilitation focuses on improving the functional capacity and independence of individuals with visual impairments, typically resulting from neurological events (stroke, head injury), neurological disease, or developmental conditions. Treatment addresses not only visual acuity, but how the brain processes and uses visual information for everyday tasks. Each patient receives an evaluation by a neuro-optometrist and a personalized treatment plan.

Driving Assessment and Rehabilitation

A professional process designed to assess fitness for safe driving and rehabilitate driving skills following health or functional changes. The process includes cognitive-functional clinical assessment, simulator evaluation, and an on-road practical assessment — with the goal of enabling a safe return to driving or identifying alternative mobility solutions to preserve independence.

Hand and Burns Rehabilitation

Treatment for upper limb injuries including fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, amputations, burns, arthritis, and work- or leisure-related musculoskeletal conditions. Treatment includes static and dynamic splinting, active and passive upper limb exercises, pressure garments and silicone applications for post-burn or post-surgical scarring, custom splint fabrication, ergonomic consultation, and more.

Cutting Edge
Research

The research dimension of our Rehabilitation Medical Center gives our professional team the opportunity to remain at the forefront of innovation and development in the field. We are proud to attract occupational therapy interns and students from a range of academic institutions for training and clinical placements — laying the groundwork for the next generation of therapists in this demanding and vital field.
